Firefighter of the Month: February 2021

Congratulations to Driver/Operator Rudy Lewis on being selected as Firefighter of the Month for February. Rudy has been a member of Howe Springs for over 40 years and still going strong as one of our top responders! He has accomplished great things and helped many of our citizens throughout his years. Serving as the Fire Chief for a period of time and as Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Rudy has just about done it all. He is a valuable asset for us and the citizens we serve. Mr. Rudy is retired from the Paper Mill where he also served as the Fire Chief for their fire brigade. Helping others is in his DNA. Mr. Rudy and his wife, who also served as a firefighter, live in the Evergreen community as a member of Station 2. Thank you Mr. Rudy for your dedication then and now to the citizens of Howe Springs.
